Can’t Help But Wonder

Thanks to my friend Cheryl, I started reading Angie’s blog, about the pregnancy and loss of their baby girl, Bring the Rain and loving the song by Mercy Me of the same name. This summer the Bible study that has been selected is about suffering. I have so many things to be thankful for and cannot think of anything at all to complain or even want. Yet, with this great season of plenty and joy, I can’t help but wonder what is around the bend. Whatever it is, I know that I serve a great God who loves me and will provide no matter what happens, but still I wonder and hope that it’s just the pessimist in me that is even questioning.

I’m right there with you Shannon. But the suffering is our challenge from God, to make us stronger people…I hope at least. Yes, we have some many wonderful blessings!!

Ooooo! I just got chills…like a reality check…I’ve had the same thing pop in my mind a dozen times in the past couple of weeks but I keep thinking…it’s not for me…God is just preparing me to help someone else out. Then, just 20 minutes ago, Graham and I were reading his devotional and the verse of the day was Romans 8:26 (which I wrote another post about)…again…is God preparing me for something? I guess I AM in the middle of something…hmmm! I know your feelings though….! ….??
